Back in high school, I took my first photography class and learned the fundamentals of shooting on 35mm film, from loading rolls to developing in the darkroom. There was something about slowing down, trusting the light, and waiting for the image to come to life that stayed with me. Years later, I still carry that same approach into my work. Film taught me patience, intention, and how to truly see before pressing the shutter, and I’ve never been able to put it down.
