Lowrider culture has always been part of my story. Growing up in San José, I was surrounded by chrome, candy paint, oldies playing through open windows, and a deep sense of community and pride. Fun fact, Lowrider Magazine was founded right here in my hometown in 1977, which makes documenting this culture feel even more personal.
From neighborhood cruises to car shows across California, I photograph lowriders not just as cars, but as living pieces of history that reflect family, tradition, and self expression passed down through generations.
